DMCA Notice & Takedown
1. Overview
Velvr respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). This page describes how to submit a DMCA takedown notice for content stored or transmitted through Velvr.
2. Important Scope Note
Velvr is a tool that helps creators manage their Fanvue accounts. Most creator content is hosted on Fanvue, not on Velvr. If your copyright complaint is about content visible to fans on Fanvue, you should also notify Fanvue directly.
3. Velvr's Designated DMCA Agent
DMCA notices regarding content stored or processed by Velvr should be directed to our designated agent:

4. What Your DMCA Notice Must Include
A valid DMCA notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and sufficient information to locate it.
- Contact information including address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
5. Counter-Notice
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@velvr.app with the requirements listed in 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
Velvr terminates accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
7. Misuse Warning
Submitting a false DMCA notice may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
