VelvrAcceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines what you may and may not do with Velvr. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, with or without notice depending on severity.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use Velvr to:
- Create or operate personas representing or impersonating minors, real-existing third parties without consent, public figures, or fictional characters whose use would infringe rights.
- Generate, send, or facilitate content involving minors in any form, including roleplay scenarios that simulate minors.
- Generate content that violates Fanvue's Terms of Service, including content prohibited by Fanvue's content moderation policies.
- Attempt to bypass Velvr's compliance validator pipeline (caption-guard, refusal, drift, lang-offer, limits, disclosure layers).
- Use Velvr to coordinate harassment, threats, or targeted hate against any individual or group.
- Attempt to circumvent geo-restrictions or use the Service from a region where Velvr has not been activated.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract proprietary Velvr components (engine logic, validator implementations, persona schema).
- Resell or sublicense access to Velvr without explicit written agreement.
3. Hard Limits (Velvr Defaults)
Velvr enforces certain hard limits at the validator layer that cannot be bypassed through persona configuration:
- Content involving minors — absolute block, account-suspension trigger.
- In-real-life meeting proposals — default block, can be configured per persona if you understand the legal risk.
- Phone or video call requests — default block.
- Off-platform payment instructions — default block (violates Fanvue ToS).
You may add additional hard limits during persona setup.
4. AI Auto-Reply Rules
- Auto-Reply is opt-in per conversation, with a default OFF state. You must affirmatively enable it for each conversation.
- Your acknowledgment of the initial activation modal records your understanding that AI sends messages on your behalf.
- Velvr's six-layer validator pipeline reduces but does not eliminate risk. You remain responsible for outputs sent through your account.
5. Enforcement
Violations are evaluated by the Velvr team. Possible actions:
- Warning — for first-time minor violations.
- Persona Kill-Switch — Velvr pauses all auto-replies for the affected persona pending review.
- Account Suspension — billing paused, login blocked pending investigation.
- Permanent Ban — for severe violations (CSAM, sustained fraud, repeated violations). Includes data export offer before deletion.
6. Reporting Violations
If you believe another Velvr user is violating this AUP, or you encounter problematic content, report to abuse@velvr.app. Reports about Fanvue content should go directly to Fanvue.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP. Material changes are notified via email and in-app banner.
